BAin4Weeks.com has a splashy new front page, but no links to content. Anyone know the story, and when it may return?

It's back. The splashy page that said "A Journey of a thousand degrees starts with a single CLEP" seems to be gone.

BAin4Weeks is a fine site. Lawrie Miller does an admirable job. I think his page is great.

I see no problem with registering a domain without providing a home address and phone number, heck I even encourage it. Some fax spam company got my fax # from my domain registration and sent at least 50 faxes before I made them quit ( Fax.com: I sued each of the businesses that used fax.com to send unsolicited faxes).

You really should investigate before you post. That is the voice of experience, not a reprimand. I've posted some nonsense here and have been set straight by the regulars.

    Hi Florida:

I have to reflect the sentiments that BAin4weeks is a straight forward site with a wealth of great information. I have explored the site fairly extensively and never found anything that would suggest any impropriety. What is it about the site that you find has to do with degree mills?

I can probably answer that one. It's the name. Great site...great content...misleading name.

I know what you mean -- I send people there all the time and always have to add that no, it's not one of those services. To be fair to Lawrie Miller though, the site does indeed outline a plan in which it's theoretically possible to get a BA in four weeks, so it's not inherently misleading.

I always had the assumption that the site got its name from arguments with degree mill apologists who said that it took too long to get an RA degree. There also seems to be a common belief (at least from what I've seen on some of the degree mill forums like Kennedy-Western's forum) amongst degree mill apologists that you can't leverage already gained knowledge into an RA degree. When these kind of arguments would take place, I'd see Lawrie pop in and provide a link to his site.
