Aspen's Tuition It sure would be nice if other DETC Universities would come down on their tuition rates. Hopefully other schools will take notice. Underdog
Most of those recent ones are my fault. Sorry, I had a lot of questions I wanted opinions on. I'm pretty much done now.
Thanks, I leave tomorrow. MC is on a trip and is not back yet. I'm actually leaving tomorrow morning on a kayak trip to Santa Cruz Island off the coast of Ventura, CA. We'll be kayaking in and out of all of the sea caves there, it's very cool. I'll only be gone a few days though.
I thought you had already gone and come back (Day trip). Unlike others I do not get you and MC mixed up...lol I want to come, I bet that will be great. I have to ask, where the heck will you sleep? On the boats?
From one of my favorite movies: "I'll tell ya where we'll go. Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talkin' bout a little place called... (silently) As-pen."
Will enthusiastically second that suggestion. On another note, seems like most Aspen grads have done good. A look over a LinkedIn search shows many have moved on to respectable jobs.
Since this thread is already here I will actually post something that has to do with accreditation. With the quality program that Aspen appears to be from the outside and if their program is as rigorous as others have said what kind of obstacles will stand in their way to RA? Other programs have done it recently such as AMU which became NA in 1995 and didn't complete RA until 2006. For those that are familiar with the different requirements between the two what kind of changes can you see having to happen to Aspen's program to fulfill the requirements of a regional accrediting body?
Today, a waitress brought me a fork, and for the first time in my life, it seemed like a remarkably inefficient way to eat. I couldn't get passed two bites before I felt the need to request an exchange of utensils. I might have to buy some chopsticks when I get home. As for the topic at hand, there have been more threads on this site about Excelsior and APU than there are grains of rice in my seafood padprik. Let Aspen have its moment in the sun.
