I have not checked this out and am only assuming it's "as advertised." It could be a good deal. Ashworth College Announces New Scholarship Program
Am I missing something? The page linked says you can find out more information on Ashworth's site but I've looked through and can't find anything mentioning this program on their web site.
Ashworth College Community: Student Life: Ashworth College Introduces Gary Keisling ACCESS Scholarship Program This page says:
Just called them to find out how the December promotion would apply to a Master's program. Got put on hold a long while, so I sent an E-mail. We'll see what they say, if they respond.
They responded with an E-mail saying I'd need to talk to an admissions rep!! Grr! Called again, and the rep insisted on taking down personal information before giving me any info on tuition. Seemed to me a straightforward question-- how much is it after the discount?
I think I figured out the "promotion": FULL PAY-- $2,800 AUTO PAY-- $3,000 BILL PAY-- $3,115 For a master's in management. Not bad, really. About the same as what Aspen was offering a few years back-- if you prepay in full up front, you save at least $300.
I believe that is just for one semester. There are three semesters in the masters program, so the total cost would be around $9,000.
Thanks for catching that. $8400 pre-paid, which is right about what Aspen is offering. For a while, you could have said Aspen was easily the superior choice. Based on things I've heard since Dr. Lady left, Aspen may not be the better choice anymore. I just noticed Ashworth offers graduate certificates. That's not a horrible deal-- one semester's worth of work for $2800, and you get some cheap resume fluff.
