    Regarding TESC:

It is inexpensive if you need a significant amount of units, however, it tends to be expensive if you only need a few courses.

TESC is the most expensive of the 3

Maybe TESC is affordable compared to other "traditional" colleges, but last time I calculated an Associates degree at COSC is $1049 in one year, and $1320 at Excelsior. That includes the evaluation and graduation fees. Bachelor degrees are not too much more.
The $4000 your say TESC costs is quite a difference isn't it?

The $4000 TESC fee includes 36 semester hours worth of courses and unlimited TECEP exams. The fees you refer to from the Excelsior and COSC do not and are primarily administrative fees. If you do not wish to take courses from TESC you can pay a much smaller fee. So, if you're a new student who needs to fulfil core requirements through DL courses TESC is a great deal. Each of the schools has its benefits depending on your situation.
