Ha! Thank you, Jimmy, for conjuring-up such imagery as I sit at the computer, sipping my coffee this fine morning. I am a devout "Andy Griffith Show" fan... endlessly tickled, no matter how many times I see them, by the antics of Don Knotts as Barney Fife. His "nip it" saying was recurring in that series... and he always said it with such fervor and passion. What a remarkable talent he was in that show (as compared with the doofus he was, later, in the completely unwatchable -- both then and now -- "Three's Company"... blech!!).

TV Land did an hour-long retrospective/countdown show on what viewers considered to be the top 10 Andy Griffith Shows a couple months back. I was on my way out the door, but I had the presence of mind to grab a scratch VHS tape from my shelf and shove it in the machine and hit the "record" button as I headed out the door. I still haven't found time to watch it... but I'm gonna' make some now that you've reminded me. Maybe some night when I can't sleep or something.

 

Yes, DesElms, the Andy Griffith show was a remarkable show. I watch it as much as I can and still, as you indicate, never tire of it and it seems always fresh and refreshing.

You mention Knotts portraying a doofus in Three's Company. Talk about doofus, how about that doofus that took Barney's place, Warren!

Television comedies today are nothing compared to Andy Griffith, All in the Family and News Radio.

In this thread (tread?) alone, this person has accused me of a secret agenda, called JakeA a jackass, cast aspersions upon your being a clergyman, and ridiculed your theological formation. He has also been rude to the estimable Mr Horthy. He never once responded to my serious and well-meant questions about the website which was the topic of this thread.

It has no point. It has no end.

Do what I am doing henceforth, Jimmy. Refuse to post on any thread where this person posts. To post is to aid and abet him. If you expose what he does, he whines. If you are constructive, he basks in reflected constructiveness which is none of his.

And your constructive post was made out of accusations, very constructive.

UJ has an agenda, I have very powerful message about accreditation issues and he is looking for a ways to silence me.

Maybe couple of my friends will join the group.
Some are Accreditation evaluators with ABET, NSPE, APA others are helping me with a web site that I'm one of the persons promoting building for promotion of Professional Accreditation.

UJ will be welcome to post there once the board is up and running.

You may even find couple of respectful persons on this board that noticed this as well.

Listing credentials in a signature -- or even mentioning/discussing them at all, for that matter -- is optional and purely at the discretion of the person who is being challenged/asked about them... which, by your failure to list them in your signature -- and your refusal to adequately specify them when challenged about them in another thread not long ago -- you clearly seem to know and understand.

Referring to people here as "the gang"; and use of such as "A Junko" or "auntie janko" or "auntie junko", etc., is commonly found on AED or in the Crabby Forum or in other such places where DegreeInfo and its members are routinely savaged; and in such fora you have sworn, in the past, that you never post. However, curiously, in a manner not terribly dissimilar to the time when you responded as Lerner to a posting to which only Azad could possibly have responded as you did, you seem, here, in this thread, to have forgotten where you are. This isn't AED, or the Crabby Forum, or any similar place where uncle janko is routinely called such things as "A Junko" or "Junko" or "auntie janko" or other similar names; or where we're referred to as "the gang" or "the DI gang."

Many times I misspelled Ancle and Uncle so the A stands for U
its a typo.

The other question is that people here used much worse
name calling and comments and routinly savage me and I never ever seen any one to rebuke them on a level warnings I get even when their comments are on the level of the AED you just mentioned.
UJ openly with couple others exciting people to ignore me etc, this is in my eyes like a gang thing.

When I started this thread for good intentions, couple individuals
used it to attack me for no good reason.

For some moderators be good and just moderator/moderators.

My comment is that I do not post at AED or other such forums. If I post at different forum not AED its only on a subject and not about people. I have nothing to do with the persons that attack UJ on other forums and never done that.

deal with him. I'm looking for time when he ignore my posts.

All one needs to do is read this thread and how I started it according to the forums rules, Dr Golin replied with a good post and then UJ replied with his acusations. Am I surprised that some other peole dislike him, not at all.
