With all the heated talk about DETC, I decided to measure the footprint of one of the stronger DETC schools. I chose American Military University, which I have long been fond of.

    The results were truly impressive.

Not only did AMU make a good showing, not only did it surpass a number of RA schools that I've looked at, but AMU actually seems to be one of the more interesting and productive DL-only schools out there, whatever the accreditation.

Here's a sampling that doesn't begin to exhaust what's available:

    Bill:

Fine piece of research on your part. I truly enjoyed checking out some of the articles cited. AMU appears to be enjoying overwhelming success in their DL studies.

AMU has obviously specialized and carved out a very strong niche for themselves. I have little doubt that they have an excellent reputation in military circles.

Bill, thanks for the research. As I said earlier in the week, this school is innovative and very contributory. Attendance appears to be around 10,000 with a very strong faculty. Student body is made up of not only miliary but those with military interests.

We would be remiss if we failed to mention Criminal Justice and Homeland Security folks! They have opened several programs within these fields as well!
