Somebody might find this interesting: http://www.aacsb.edu/knowledgeservices/omd2/PowerHeader.asp It's a search page that allows you to search the AACSB member list in lots of different ways, by state, country, accreditation status, degree level, business specialty or whatever. Most of the members have a little writeup that gives their AACSB accreditation status (many members aren't accredited), whether they are public or private, whether they emphasize research, teaching or community service, whether they have a basic research, applied research or instructional research orientation, enrollments, budgets, faculty numbers and percentage with doctorates, and degrees and specialties offered. I just discovered that CSU Dominguez Hills is listed as an AACSB candidate. I knew that they were interested in seeking this accreditation, but I didn't know that things had gotten that far. CSUDH offers one of the least expensive online MBAs around, and if the school of management becomes AACSB accredited, that would make it even more attractive, I guess.
Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to go through the AACSB accreditation process once you're a candidate? I reviewed the AACSB website but although they have a great process flow there are no timelines. Cheers, Mark
