That would be interesting if the judge were to do so. It might even keep him out of jail, at least for contempt of court. But being held in a NY mental health facility might not be much better than Rikers.

Oh, he wouldn't be held. But can you imagine the volcano that would erupt in MAGA-World?

Trump on the evacuation of the protesters in Colombia: "It was beautiful to see, they are crazy Hamas supporters" news agencies Last updated: 2.5.2024 / 0:21 The Republican presidential candidate called for the dismantling of the protest camps on US campuses, while trying to blame his opponent President Biden for the situation. "Your towns and villages will now receive people from Gaza and various other places."

    Looking back at Trump presidency.
2% inflation, 3% interest rate 2$ gas no wars, record setting employment numbers.
    Pretty scary stuff

Yeah, right. And of course Trump and his team had SO much to do with those numbers. i.e. NOTHING.
But Trump took the credit anyway.

Are you mistakenly crediting Trump with those numbers? Or are you just mentioning them randomly?

It's always the case, blame the predecessor for bad times, take credit for good times, no mater who in WH, Blue or Red.

No he didn't. He rode the wave (the business cycle and oil prices etc) and TRUMPeted that it was his doing. It wasn't. At all. Then came the pandemic - which changed everything - and his personal response and his administrative team's, was nothing short of unmitigated disaster. Over 1,000,000 Americans died. That's an AWFUL total - especially for a first-world country. Nobody should ever forget or forgive that.

My wife is a Republican. She voted for Trump in 2016. In 2020 she voted for Biden for that exact reason. First time ever voting for a Democrat for President.

We disagree on this, wave was good but he made it even better.

Honestly, I think if Covid didn't happen, she would have voted for him and 100% sure he would have been president of US for another term. He would have wone by small margin.

After elections of 2020 and especially Jan 6th, was a turning point for me.
Before that Trump had my full support.
Whith exception of immigration handling and handling of his advisors.

Good to know, Bill. I hope this next election brings Mrs. Huffman exactly the result she wants - again. :) And that it will be the last time that anyone has to vote for, or against Donald Trump - for any office. Not even dog-catcher in Booger Hollow, a real town in rural Arkansas.
