Passing the "hardest" bar exam at 17. She beat her brother's record by a few months. He was 17 and 11 months when he passed the bar. Now, their younger sibling is in law school.
I remember when her brother passed the Bar. I see they both work for the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office. There were questions about whether they had the maturity to be in that role. Knowing the law is one thing, and important, but do they have the critical thinking and reasoning skills necessary to be successful? Not a rhetorical question, as a non-attorney I don't know. I suppose the counter-argument is there are lots of 30 year olds walking around with bad judgement, and a few of them might be attorneys.
My first job was as a rural Assistant District Attorney. I wasn't that young but I still managed to be both pompous and arrogant.
