St Regis University http://www.saintregisedu.org appears to be a new one - registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica with the standard words on 'we don't need to be accredited because we are international' Found it whilst having a cursory look at the USA Today advertisments at http://www.usatoday.com/marketpl/onlnclas/edctnmon.htm The certainly list themselves with fine company, no? Cheers, George
Can't beat the locale. It's a beautiful island which has somehow avoided being overrun with loud, obnoxious tourists. With fewer than 80,000 residents, it's avoided being overrun with much of anything at all.. including colleges or universities. It has none. University aspirants usually go to UWI or North American schools. On my last visit (2000)I didn't notice anything which would remotely resemble a university campus.. and on an island that's about 20 miles long by 10 miles wide, it'd be hard to hide one. Of course, I didn't notice a "Mailboxes Etc. (tm)" outlet, either. Perhaps the two were founded concurrently?
