    Congratulations!
I hate to tell you something you are already well aware of, but in my humble opinion there is nothing in this world more grueling than studying for and taking a bar examination. Nothing.
A good review is that company BAR/BRI.

Good luck, and if you need anything at all please PM me, I've been practicing now for 32 years, seems like a hundred, all criminal law, all inner-city Boston courts....let me know if I can be of any help whatsoever.

Again, congratulations, I know it is a long long road, and you're finally at the end.

I don't know about that, I've heard tha pc can never pass a bar.:alcoholic:

Just kidding pc. Congratulations on your accomplishment.

  11. Yes. I'm studying for it right now. Well, in my "pre-study" mode. I will be taking the Georgia Bar in a couple of months.

  12. Thanks everyone!! I owe a lot of gratitude to the members on this site. Just 6 years ago I was an 18 year old Airmen with 10 college credits to my name.

  13. Wow. 32 years is nothing short of amazing. I can only imagine the experiences you have been through in that time-frame. Criminal law is the type of law that I plan on practicing. Any and all information you have would be great. "Tips and tricks", "do's and don'ts", I'm all ear for the wisdom.

Glad to hear that Barbri gets your seal of approval. I start the Barbri course next month.

32 years is also nothing short of "sad". LOL...to be doing this type of work that long. But the entertainment value, as you will soon see, is outstanding.
Brief example: 911 call about an armed robbery. The "victim" says somone stole his property. Police arrive, find the robber and the property, two bags of jewelry and new shirts. Turns out the CALLER stole the stuff that was taken from HIM. So the victim is now arrested for receiving stolen goods and the robber is arrested for robbery and both are transported to the station.
Gotta love it....I will PM you with my email address in one second, if I can help you in any way, as I mentioned before......

I'm in my 24th year......I'm wondering if we've ever faced each other in a courtroom.

Uh oh...I was going to be facetious and ask what you were charged with but then I noticed you are a moderator and I would rather not get banned, so I won't ask that question :)

Hahaha.....police officer, and I've testified many, many times in Boston courts, mostly Roxbury, West Roxbury, Dorchester, and Suffolk Superior.

Just Pm'd you, Bruce, with some details of where I go etc to see if we do know each other or have run into each other somewhere in "the system"

I was at Dorchester Court for a probation surrender over the summer....someone replaced the old dump with a mansion. A far cry from the old days when the floors were movie theater-sticky, and Judge King would read magazines and clip coupons during witness testimony.
