"He’s registered in North Carolina as an unaffiliated voter. In North Carolina, unaffiliated voters can choose which primary they want to vote in. Routh chose Democrats.

Routh has also made small donations through ActBlue throughout the 2024 election cycle. ActBlue is an online platform used by Democrats for fundraising".

    Wesley Routh
"The would-be assassin of Donald Trump was a prolific social media user who frequently expressed radical opposition to Republican figures and hinted he was ready to "fight" for his beliefs.

A series of posts to Twitter, now X, reveal Roth was an ardent supporter of the Democratic Party, particularly hard-left members including Senator Bernie Sanders, and frequently attacked those he felt were close to Trump.

The 58-year-old again attacked Trump in a post dated April 22, declaring "DEMOCRACY is on the ballot and we cannot lose," while a separate post on the same day argued President Biden should run his campaign on the pledge to keep "America democratic and free."

Trump, he said, wanted to "make Americans slaves against master."

Since Tulsi Gabbard ran as a Democrat, I think she might have been taking donations via ActBlue. Gabbard is no longer a Democrat and is working for Trump. Bernie Sanders is also not a Democrat, but he ran twice to become the Democratic nominee and took donations via ActBlue. Routh also voted for Trump in 2016 and expressed support for Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy in 2024.

Guess he became a believer and was turned by the radical rhetoric of the Democratic party and its surrogates. Surrogates include the media. The moderation of the debate was bizarre. Trump was debating 3 people and the female moderator spread misinformation in the first half hour.

Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy are not Democrats, but many of Nikki Haley's fans are Never Trumpers and have decided to vote for Harris. Ukraine is not a partisan issue. Funding for Ukraine has received bipartisan support in Congress. Trump is making his own supporters turn against him. Crooks was also described as a conservative by his former classmates, and there was a Trump sign in his family's yard.

This country cannot afford to reward Democratic Party behavior and tactics in November if democracy is to survive.

For the sake of the country the Republicans need to win the Senate and the House at a minimum.

The moderators corrected Trump's dangerous misinformation on legal Haitian migrants. Trump's racist lie has led to bomb threats and Haitians' property being vandalized. He's fortunate that Florida's large Haitian population is ignoring him. Instead, he's been attacked by two White American men.

Actually and surprisingly no. I prefer intelligent conservatives like Raphael (Ted) Cruz or Rand Paul. Highly educated and articulate. I would not by any stretch of the imagination call myself a Trump supporter. He is a little less objectionable than Harris who is an airhead and an empty suit who got anointed to the position.

Trump is inarticulate and I'm never sure what he really stands for except for himself. On the other hand as one talking head said, like him or not, like his position or not, he generally tries to do what he says he will do. So, you know what you are in for.

Ted Cruz just might be the most hated Republican by his own state. He might squeak out a win, but Colin Allred is getting close, according to some polls. Cruz only keeps winning because he's the incumbent Republican. Conservative Texans would rather have someone else.

Radical person, who lost it. It's a second attempt in such a short time,
The USSS agents prevented the assassination, they deserve credit.
It's a relatively small force, because Trump is ex President. Only an active serving president gets full USSS protection, in such a case the whole park would have been closed.

I think maybe Nikki Haley and Mark Rubio, would have been a good choice for GOP if Trump decided earlier in the year he isn't running in 2024.

Oh yes, Cancun Ted would be your choice.

Given how out of proportion this sentiment is to any evidence, I'd wager to guess it simply means "she is a black woman".
Also, everything I've previously said about how I feel about the Right treating a successful daughter of immigrant academics this way.

Demonstrates how critical thought escapes you. You make baseless assumptions.

Well, Harris is obviously an intelligent person. Highly successful prosecutor and California Attorney General and her questioning of folks in the Senate all demonstrate intelligence. Yet, she's a woman that's all that's required for folks folks in the MAGA crowd to question her intelligence. Why? Because critical thought escapes them and you just ride along with the baseless assumptions?

    Okay.

You are kind of like the salesman of the value of unaccredited substandard degrees.

Stanislav just tends to get aggressive and throw out racial trump cards to attempt to shut down arguments.

What, pray tell, is substandard about the Kamala Harris history that demonstrates low intelligence? Perhaps the same thing that demonstrates Taylor Swifts low intelligence to you because, they are both women?

LOL, "arguments". What you offered is barely an ad hominem. What's your evidence Kamala is unintelligent? Before being picked by Biden, she held the same job as your boo Rand Paul (a doctor and Senator son of a doctor and Senator, with 1% of the integrity his daddy had)? You attack her on the basis of her roots, in spite of your real or pretend lack of self-awareness that allows you to deny that.

Ron Paul was in the House only, not the Senate.

    Live fact checking!

Thanks! Still, I disagree with 99% of what he stood for, but he was 100x more honest than Rand.
