Civil service rules protect them, for better and worse.

    MSM lie-machinations

Decimon's reply is accurate and sees through the political smoke and mirrors (lies) that are being presented as factual. The left, to include Democrats, Socialists and Marxists, are relying on fake news and lies to under-gird their entire political philosophy. That's why their political bottom has completely fallen out. Next up will be the financial implosion of the MSM lie-machinations, which is happening right now.

I'm as conservative as they come in this forum, and I have positively no idea who Richard Spencer is.

As an aside, this is why moderators should set all the forums to allow inline images.

Yeah, that's on the To-Do List, right after "fix the search widget."

Aren't these things Trump should do if he wants more minority voters and actually win the popular vote? He doesn't have a history of being very respectful to many groups of people.

That's interesting because you claim to watch CNN quite a bit. Richard Spencer was prominently featured after the Charlottesville terrorist attack.

This is fake news, me again. Trump and Clinton were close in the polls right before the election. The national polling didn't really turn out to be wrong since he lost the popular vote. As we all know by now, the electoral college is not meant to reflect the majority.

In the article, reference is made to the strict interpretation of Islamic law in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a country where Salafism is rather influential, to put it mildly. It's an ultra-conservative school (salaf means 'ancestor' or 'predecessor') but it's not an ancient school dating back to the origins of Islam. There are many others in Sunni Islam so the Salafi interpretation of Islamic law is only one of many. What applies in Saudi Arabia doesn't necessarily apply in other Muslim countries.

Conveniently, not one of Trump supporters in this topic bothered to disagree with Spencer on anything. :hmm:

That agenda is so attractive you avoid specifying what exactly is it. And so does Trump himself.

You can't disagree with what you don't know.

I see a fey, white nationalist socialist who calls conservatives, or whomever, cucks.

Does he have some stated policy program to disagree with?

Here's radical idea: how about glancing at an article you're commenting on?

This uncannily reminds me of Trump going to extreme pains not to condemn his racist supporters. Feigning ignorance is trick #1 (although with Trump, it could be real profound ignorance).

What is there that is not in the headline? That he doesn't like voting in general?

You need to do more than cast aspersions, guy.

I'm not sure that any President in history has done more to condemn racists and racism, including his racist supporters, than Trump has in his short time in office. Buuuuut, of course, no one wants to hear that, so let's pretend like it never happened.

Reporter: Are you prepared right now to make a clear and unequivocal statement renouncing the support of all white supremacists?

    Trump: OF COURSE I AM!

And now here again I find myself as a broken record. With so many legitimate things to criticize Donald Trump for, why, oh why, does anyone feel the need to keep making things up?
