Who has the best looking diplomas?

Supposedly one of the colleges in Virginia have diplomas that so large the frames sold in the bookstore are nearly three feet tall.

I believe UVA.

It would give new meaning to the term "trophy wall" I think

 

My Anderson (SC) diploma is pretty nice looking. The brownish parts on the shield emblem are actually gold / shiny.

 

Not too bad for being British...

 

I like that it looks like a "credential" rather than what someone on this forum once posted about American diplomas looking like "the deed to a medieval castle"

Sadly, I have both...one from Georgetown University and one from the Imperial College London.

 

My Anderson degree is the best looking of the bunch. It's also bigger, it's oversized compared to my 3 other degree diplomas that are just like 8 1/2 x 11 size

 

Yeah, my Anderson degree diploma is also huge, lol.

 

Given how UK degrees work, is the masters "with merit" like an undergrad "honors" degree or is it more for overall GPA, similar to Latin honors?

Both being doctorates, how do they compare in terms of size?

 

Does ICL still give you a parchment/linen/sheepskin? ... scroll ?

 

I thought BC (being Jesuit) required a semester of Latin ?

Also, how big is "huge" ?

 

Is the recipients name actually anywhere on the page? Because if my translation is correct, it merely says the "recipient" earned a Masters in Professional Studies... but doesn't list WHO the recipient is... or did you edit out the name somewhere ?

This is the most “Rich” thing to say and honestly, I love it.

 

Honestly, none of my degrees are look “impressive”.

In fact, as proud as I am to have earned a degree from Duke University, I was quite let down at the actual diploma. LOL I expected something like Rice gives which is a HUGE diploma.

 

They're both in same-sized frames, but the Leicester diploma had room for three photos of the campus I'd taken as well as the diploma itself. The Union diploma is 11" x 17". The Leicester is more like British A4, 8.3" x 11.7"
