I think this depends an awful lot on what you want to do. Do you want to be a programmer? Software engineer? Etc? Also, keep in mind that a graduate degree will help, but only getting you into the HR door, you'll still need some good experience or projects from school that you can highlight. Good luck!

Are you sure it's a computer related degree that will help you? There are other skills that employers want, including excellent English, business and finance expertise, and so forth.

In many countries (including USA and India), a 4-year degree in IT or related fields is the base qualification for a career in IT. Once you figure out your career stream(Hardware, Security, Networking, Development, QA etc), additional certifications in that stream will give you more career boost. Of course - no substitute for experience, but that'll take time.

If you are worried that your B.Tech did not prepare you for a career, be assured that no degree from any school in the world can guaranty that. Any degree beyond a bachelors may help climbing the job ladder but may not add anything to you knowledge. This is my personal opinion and an advice from an IT professional to a wanna-be
