What are your eclipse plans?

We spent today watching an Eclipse course on Coursera - good stuff. I'm in the Carolinas, so we'll be on top of a skyscraper with our eclipse glasses and a front row seat.

 

I'm in California where the eclipse will only be partial. As far as looking at it goes, I plan to use a homemade pinhole camera. I've looked at eclipses that way before, it kind of projects a little image of the sun without any need to look at the sun directly.

Hey Jennifer, you say you are in the Carolinas. South Carolina? I hear that the path of totality will pass right over Columbia and Charleston.
