Admittedly, I was implying the quality is not what it was given what I've read in other spots on the web. It was not a fair assertion given what you, ryoder and suelaine have recently said about the institution.

    Question withdrawn, your honor.

I just noticed that the College of Business of the "Regionally Accredited" State University I attended is ACBSP accredited and only some of the business degree programs are specifically accredited. To be honest, I never considered ACBSP or AACSB program accreditation. Apparently, my masters degree offered by the College of Business does not have specific program accreditation. What value and/or importance do these accreditations hold? Is it enough to say my college is ACBSP accredited? I bring this up in discussion to demonstrate some of the potential pitfalls in selecting business graduate schools.

AACSB is important if you plan to go on to teach business at the college or university level. Otherwise, I'm not convinced they're that important relative to other factors.

University of Liverpool (UK) offers a distance DBA that is AACSB accredited.

I earned my undergraduate degree from a school that received AACSB accreditation after I graduated. I earned my MBA at an ACBSP School and I am currently attending an AACSB school. There are exceptions, but in my experience, AACSB schools are more research oriented. As I mentioned in my previous post some schools are starting to offer distance AACSB accredited degrees.
