Someone sent me a private message to post the URL for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's 100% online Ph.D./Ed.D. program. Here it is. http://plaza.unl.edu/distributed.nsf/pages/doctoral http://edadone.unl.edu/Welcome.htm Good Luck!! Duff
I made a New Years resolution not to rant on degreeinfo but I can't resist this one: How ironic is it that someone who wants to earn a PhD, the supreme research credential, can't find a url to a major state university? Kudos to duff for being a good guy. Wrist-slap to me for breaking my resolution. Jack
Re: Re: URL for the University of Neb.-Linc. No wrist slap. I happen to agree with you. 10 minutes on Google, Yahoo, or Open Directory and you can find a lot of information. And there have been numerous posts about specific DL search engines here on DegreeInfo. It is interesting the number of posts asking about doctoral programs where you don't have to take any GRE or proctored tests, but can still "earn" an accredited degree. And yes I am snippy tonight, just finshed a midterm in statistics today (and it was proctored). So far I ahve completed three classes (10 credits), 2 in math and 1 in engineering. Currently taking 1 math class, and have 2 math and 3 engineering to go. And then I start working hard!
Re: Re: Re: URL for the University of Neb.-Linc. Ok guys... calm down. I asked the link in case Duff had already knew it and i was busy doing other things yesterday. I am not really looking to do a Education related phd.. but was curious to know various programs available. Thanks a lot.
Nebraska-Lincoln's Doctoral Program Does anyone have experience as a student in Nebraska's Ed.D./Ph.d. program in Higher Education? It looks exceptionally well-organized and reasonably priced. Surprisingly I couldn't find much on the program in the archives. Best wishes, John
Re: Nebraska-Lincoln's Doctoral Program It's one of those programs that does look quite good, but I don't ever recall anyone here or at AED ever actually being a student in it. I think it gets lost in the PhD shuffle because there are no resident students here. Tom Nixon
