Appeal failed: Offshore Medical School Ceased operations for good. https://www.courtlistener.com/opinion/4776099/orien-tulp-v-educational-commission-foreign/

Ah well, for Orien L. Tulp - he's going to start all over again with another online medical school he's been planning on in a Caribbean island nearby.

Essentially this offshore medical school was accredited for about 6-8 years and now forced to close. Several of the students did become US medical doctors.

Can you believe it? First two years online, final two years in clinical rotations, and if the student passes the USMLE Step 2, they can go into residency.

We've had threads and news articles on Dr. Tulp and his schools for about 18 years now. Suggest you read them. Here's the latest article I can find. https://www.bvibeacon.com/montserrat-medical-school-sanctioned-in-us/

By which agency? It had ASIC at one time and AAHEA once too. I'm sure you're familiar with those agencies. Also, according to the article, "Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and other Health Professions (or CAAM-HP) had declined to accredit USAT in 2012...."
So - again - what recognized accreditation agency are we talking about, here, that accredited USAT?

Not any more, it seems. From the article:

"The commission determined that USAT students with a graduation year of 2019 or later are no longer eligible to apply for ECFMG certification, which also means they will not be able to apply to ECFMG to take the US Medical Licensing Examinations. Without taking those exams and completing a residency training programme, graduates can’t obtain an unrestricted US medical licence.: "
