    Hallo everybody,
I am trying to find the affordable and fast way to complete credits for CPA exam in NYS.
I found University of North Alabama Accounting Prep Program.
It really looks affordable and nice, but I could not find any experiences on internet about that.
How does it look like to you? Is it too good to be true? Trade mill?
Any experience or opinion would be more than welcomed.
    Thank you a lot

I forgot to add that the most attractive reason to chose this program are on line exams and quizzes, without looking for proctor and without all the paperwork that follow this. One more advantage over LSU. Or I am wrong and I am missing something?

yes, it does, but I was wondering if it will be accepted for CPA exam, and if the school is RA. Can not find it. On the bad side, it takes a month to be approved and start with the course.

Their accreditation is shown on their web page:

SACS is the regional accreditor for the southeastern US. So yes, UNA is RA. UNA also has ACBSP accreditation for its business programs, which can also be a plus, depending on your state's requirements.

The other question is whether UNA classes will be accepted for the CPA exam. The answer is: it depends on your state. As it says on their web page, the requirements vary from state to state:

thank you very much for your quick response and confirmation on RA accreditation.
I contacted NYS Board for CPA exam requirements about this school and their answer was:
" As long as the schools are regionally accredited and you receive a grade and credit hours it will be accepted" [/I]

It looks like they will accept it. Please, let me know if I am wrong and if there is anything else that I should double check before I enroll in program.
    Thanks once again

Am I reading their webpage correctly? $400 for a 3 credit course? Looks like a great deal.

    UNA cpaexcel courses

I am currently enrolled for Tax II class with them. My only concern is that I have B.S degree in accounting and believe NYS board will consider this as a duplicate credit. Anyone with similar situation?
