Hello all. I am interested to have people thoughts on the Economics or Mathematics and Economics course.
I am doing this purely out of personal interest.
I will be studying independently. I am based in the UK.
I am more interested in the mathematical content.

It's not any easy program. You need to be very self-directive. I think it's a quality degree from a good school. I sometimes find it helpful to compare programs because delivery varies from place to place. So does customer/student services. Here's a few more you can look at

FWIW, I have no direct experience with UoL external am very familiar based on the experience of a family member. Very rigorous.

London International is rigorous. Make sure you have drive and stamina for this.

Hi, I do know of the OU and that the cost of UOL is quite good compared to others.

The Open University (my MA is from there) and I really didn't agree with each other. I had two personal tutors, one great and the other... less so. However the course was the only one at the time that would fit around my life hence why I went with it. University of London is perhaps a slightly different approach but I've rarely heard anyone criticise the standard of it. The OU is a bit of a Marmite approach, I have some colleagues who loved it and did several degrees there in various disciplines.
