ULM PhD in MFT with concentration in Creative Systemic Studies

    Is anyone here currently completing the non-clinical online PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with concentration in Creative Systemic Studies at University of Louisiana at Monroe? Or know someone who has completed the program?

    I am currently completing a clinical MA in MFT at a COAMFTE accredited school, so I don't need to do a doctoral program that leads to licensure. I like everything I've read about ULM's program and have been contacting advisers at the school, but I'd really like some first-hand information from people who have experienced the program.

    I had a friend that recently completed the master's program in MFT at ULM, but she couldn't find a job in that field afterwards. She's now working as an administrative assistant.

    She is really worried that ULM's online programs may lose accreditation. They don't have the infrastructure for all the online programs, and they are in danger of losing accreditation because of their increased faculty workloads. It looks like ULM doesn't really know what they are doing with their online programs.
