Ummm... definitely a way of gaining some competitive advantage in the marketing of the University!

Keep us abreast (!) of further developments.

Wreck Beach is the best beach in North America if you want to see naked bodies. (Blacks Beach here in San Diego is a great place to swim nude, but it's very spacious and uncrowded.)

When I was at Wreck Beach, I was approached by a couple (a man and a woman) collecting signatures for a petition to de-pollute the beach. All 3 of us were nude, and the woman was a gorgeous redhead. I signed the petition, and we introduced ourselves. I shook his hand, and kissed her hand. He said "Ah, enchanté", and she added "Naturellement."

When I was at Wreck Beach, I bought a T-shirt with lettering that said "Wreck Beach". Back in Edmonton, I freely wore the shirt, figuring that anyone opposed to nudism wouldn't have heard of Wreck Beach anyway. Indeed, there were no problems: my singing teacher (a Mormon) looked at the shirt and asked, "What's Wreck Beach?" I replied, "It's a beach in Vancouver, named after all the shipwrecks that occurred there before they built a lighthouse." That satisfied him. A couple of other people said, "Nice shirt, Mark." I thought nothing of that. Not until a woman remarked "That 'K' is the worst!" did I notice that each of the letters in the lettering of "Wreck Beach" was made from the silhouette of one or two nude figures!

I think it's time I went back for some additional graduate education at UBC. Of course I'd want to live on campus to enjoy the all the local sights. Wonder if Watermelon will be teaching some classes in culinary arts ?
