Trident University International Opinions??????

Anyone have any opinions on Trident University International (TUI). Would it be worth paying 10-13 thousand on a Masters degree from them?

 

Yes, absolutely. You have to pay $10K - $13K to the Dentist anyway...so, at least you can walk away with a degree with free tooth decay. J/K

I am not sure about the school name, which has been changing 3 times within 6 years.

 

It has a really stupid name, but it is accredited.

 

I completed my MS-ITM when it was Touro International University (2004) and I am 4 assignments from my MBA in Marketing with them. The instructors are mostly good. There is a lot of research for the papers to turn in high quality work. I have turned in some crappy papers (by my standards) and got hit on the grades for it and got some good feedback. The fact that there are not books is good and bad - almost everything is currect since it is URLs for journal papers to read but I still like books (that is just me) but then again, there is not a cost for books.

As far as the name, I don't really care for it. When I got my MS, the company I worked for was headquartered in NY and Touro University International was part of Touro College so it was well known and well respected. Therefore I had no problem with the name. Anyway, if just the name of the school is the only reason not to go, that is not a bad thing.
