Someone posted that case studies in the TUI MBA programs take the place of exams. How are the studies submitted? I know that they are sent electronically, but I am looking for more information from students as to what software and technology is used. I assume that the case studies are writing-intensive assignments. Am I correct? Are they graded for style as well as content, or is grading based upon some other criteria? Tracy <><
Tracy, 1) An email is used to send attachments. 2) MS-Office suite of products are used in writing assignments. 3) In general, the assignment's length ranges between 5 to 8 typed pages (sometimes more) depending on the topic and professor. 4) Content, style, and grammar are all factors used in the grading process (again depending on the professor). Hope this helps. Eli
Just to add to Eli's post: Touro's courses consist of six modules that require a case study. The case studies provide a decent assessment of the student's appropriation of the material. Knee-deep in the 3rd Semester of my MBA at Touro and loving it, Steven King
