The government launches a new 'civility campaign' to curb an alarming spike in unruly passenger behavior

Dress “with respect.” Help elderly people lift their bags. Keep your kids under control. Say please and thank you, especially to flight attendants.

These are some of the things the Department of Transportation (DOT) is urging air travelers to do as we head into what’s expected to be a record-setting holiday travel season. The department launched a new “civility campaign” on Thursday that it hopes will “restore courtesy and class to air travel” and help curb a troubling rise in unruly — and, at times, violent — behavior by American air travelers.

Yes, of course people should be more civil.

But this is a real hoot coming from the rudest, crudest administration since the 19th century. They should take the log out of their own eye before they point out the speck in anyone else's.

This is the dumbest administration of my lifetime. It's probably the dumbest administration in U.S. history. They ended requirements to reimburse customers for extremely delayed flights and want to give us this BS. Can anyone explain why the administration always wears suits, but it hasn't caused them to have any class, whatsoever?

No, but I did wonder if anyone asked that murderer Mohammed bin Salman why he wasn't wearing a suit?

Saudi tradition is to not wear suits. Although they occasionally do, especially when visiting foreign countries.

Saudi Arabia is a strange place. I mean the king must not mind that MBS murders folks since he is allowing MBS to remain the next in line to take power.

Forty years ago or so I needed to send an engineer to Saudi. They hit a computer bug in our code. The expert for that area of code was a female. I was worried about sending a female there so instead sent a male from my group.
