John Bear and Steve Levicoff deserve our upmost respect. They have been a valuable resource for Degreeinfo.

There comes times when we need to take the opportunity to thank those that have contributed so much. Thanks so much John Bear and Steve Levicoff for being such a great inspiration and encouragement to so many and we are so proud of you both.

    Thank you, Monsieur Pourri.

Bear's Guide had its 40th anniversary last June. I'd love to see a new edition. If Random House (which now owns it) doesn't do something soon, it may be time to try a self-published version again (it was self-published for its first dozen years). D'you think a Kickstarter campaign might work? (Everyone who contributes gets a free edition or an honorary doctorate or something.) We could also resurrect Steve Levicoff's excellent "Name It and Frame It" book. Just thinking.

I bought the very first one... and I still think it's a valuable resource. I think a Kickstarter campaign would be great!
