Teaching Distance Learning

    When I graduate with my MFA (eventually), I'd like to teach online or in a low residency program. Can anyone give me an idea of what kind of pay I might be able to expect in the distance learning field? Less than teaching at a brick and mortar college?

    Amy,

    go to www.monster.com search on adjunct. Several insitutions are advertising for adjunct on-line faculty. Some numbers I saw were around $1400 per course. Not sure what that means but maybe some of the others can clarify...

    I am intrigued by the following in the Adjunct Online Instructor job requirements by ITT Educational Services on Monster:
    "You may be located anywhere in the United States except California, Pennsylvania and Oregon."
