    Happy New Year to all!

I thought I would provide a quick personal update... I am registered to start my first two classes toward the MA in Educational Psychology program at Eastern Michigan University (online, of course). Wish me luck! :aargh4:

Thanks Jennifer! It's nice to have finally made a decision. I've been driving myself (and my wife!) crazy. LOL

    Tom,

Best of luck - grad school is so much more fun than undergrad because it is less about jumping through hoops and more about learning. You're going to love it!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I am hoping for new challenges in 2012. In addition to starting the MA in Ed Psych program, I've also just started taking Hapkido (Korean martial art) classes. :nervous:

I took Aikido for a while and one of the people I studied with had taken Hapkido. They are closely related but Hapkido has shorter moves (that is the way she explained it). I am certain you will have lots of fun with it. Best of luck!

Right. Hapkido incorporates circular movements and more kicks and strikes than Aikido (at least that is what I've read). Also, Hapkido is supposed to be easier on the student's body (compared with Aikido). I've only taken one Hapkido class to date, but I really like it so far.
