StraighterLine acquires Childcare Education Institute

    Interesting article, at the bottom, it indicates StraighterLine has 215 courses! When I took their courses, I think they only had about 60 or so and that's including labs. I didn't know they expanded that much and now added that many... I still think it's a typo or similar, it may have meant they have up to 215 credits transferrable...

    I don't know exactly how they arrive at this either, Bryan. I just counted EVERY course on the site. 76, total. I note this is a publicity thing by Straighterline themselves. I suspect they MAY be including all courses taught in co-operation with others (and not listed individually on the SL site), plus the numerous courses taught through their new acquisition, Child Care Education Institute. Only explanation I can think of. I can't even imagine them being dumb enough to confuse courses with credits. These 2 things are what they DO! Straighterline should be more clear. Hope their courses aren't as hard to figure out as their publicity blurb ....
