So, you think regional accreditors have high standards

    Revelated sounds like he/she is struggling to cope and trying to suppress it. Over 120 credits is a lot of credits to not have a degree, and I sense an underlying issue of not being able to finish things as the real main problem, and the arts position is just a deflection so as to not face it. With that many credits already, a ton of options (some being self-paced in fact) are available to finally finish and either get an Associate degree or fill in the gaps and get a Bachelors. It would drive me crazy to be that close and not go all the way especially since life for many people can be so much harder without a degree and because of all of the money spent to get to over 120 credits and still not come away with one.

    This reflects my opinion to a large extent. It looks like revelated didn't really know what he wanted and also got some bad advice. If you've paid for 120 credits you could probably zip through a degree completion program pretty quickly/cheaply. A few CLEP tests and a capstone would get you a degree from one of the Big 3 . . . Instead he walks away with a certificate from WOLI. But what the hell, if he's happy then I'm not going to complain. Sounds a little like "sour grapes" though.
