    Hello!

OK, I completed the case study today—about 15 pages. In short, yes, you can use Benford's Law for fraud detection as a purchasing manager for electronic components analyzing stock data - but the system is, of course, not infallible. Then again, nothing is, and it works quite well as a useful additional tool. Whew. It's 1900 now, and I’ve been working for an unholy number of hours (day job and case study combined). I’ll get home, sleep on it, and if I still think it's a good idea to turn it in tomorrow, I will.

Feel free to ask questions about everything!

    Best regards,
    Mac Juli

    Hello!

I turned it in and noticed two tyops (yes, tyops, not typos!) after sending it. I was a bit annoyed but well... still glad I did it!

    Best regards,

My favorite typo is in a bronze plaque at my synagogue. “It’s” instead of “its”.

    Hello!

Mine was when my ex-boss asked me to buy enough MELF resistors for his project and his autocorrection wrote not MELF but... well, you might guess it.

    Best regards,

This is why after I turn in an assignment I have a rule not to open it again. I'll start to notice stuff I want to change and it drives me crazy!

    Hello!

Well, it somewhat annoyed me, but "drives me crazy" would be an exaggeration... But maybe I will adopt this approach. We will see.

    Best regards,
    Mac Juli
