    Greetings,

I have been a lurker on this forum for years. Recently, I have decided to return to school to obtain my RN. To that end, I enrolled in EduKan to knock out some prerequisites. At the beginning of the course, this announcement was posted in the LMS:

Remember, you are expected to take exams only after you've mastered the content of the corresponding chapter. During the exam you must never leave the Canvas Exam to look up answers or use any form of reference. This includes: notes, textbooks, internet sources or other people during the testing time. Please know that your internet and screen activity is a traceable and permanent part of your EDUKAN academic record.

The EDUKAN science department has determined the testing time to be sufficient to maintain the highest academic integrity and allow students the opportunity to answer all questions posed. Remember that if an organization and its courses do not demonstrate consistent and verifiable Academic Integrity, it can affect the transferrability of credits as well as the reliability of the preparedness of the enrolled students. This course, and all EDUKAN courses, have passed rigorous standards to ensure all students are well qualified to continue their chosen programs of study.

This struck me curiously...while I am not an advocate of cheating on any exam is this type of tracing actually possible or is it a scare tactic?
