Just wondering if anyone has ever had any luck getting scholarships for distance education?
Also it'd be great of anyone knows of any good ones that don't have stringent requirements?
It seems most I see that I might be able to apply for are more of an advertisement than a real scholarship.
    Thanks for any tips.

By any chance are you a union member? Most unions offer scholarships to the member, and their family. Other than that, the lovely Kizmet provided good info. (as usual).

If you're Veteran or active duty can get certain scholarships from the school. For example, Southern Methodist University offers 50% scholarship for active duty personnel. I took that advantage to complete my Master; otherwise I was not able to afford $3,500.00 per course.

I'm on fast web but find web looks good also so thanks for that link.
I'm not looking for a pile of money. I have my school covered but I just figure if money is out there I might as well try to get some of it. The less I have to pay back in the end the better.
I'm not a vet but thanks for the info. Perhaps other veterans will find it of use.

UIS has several scholarships for distance-learning students. They are all directed toward students who are already enrolled in the program, though.
