Scholarships for Micro Achievements

    I don't think this has been discussed here yet...

    Raise.me is a new way for students still in high school to earn micro scholarships for various achievements (good grades, volunteer work, sports, etc.). It received initial funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Facebook. There are currently 76 schools with ties to the platform.

    This article from CNN.com tells how one student earned $80k through Raise.me and gives a general overview of how it works:
