After four years of teaching conventional "brick and mortar" classes at a local two-year college, the powers that be have finally consented to let me teach a online class in the Fall, with assurances that I can teach even more such classes in the future. My big problem is I have absolutely no idea how to use Blackboard. My college simply assumes that educated people know how to use it and there is no training program or class on how to teach with it. I have looked all over the web and have found nothing but tutorials on how to deal with changes in the upgraded versions of the program, nothing, it seems, on the program proper. Can any of you kind folks give me some guidance?

Here's a link to my college's page. I'm not sure how specific it is to our school, but I would think that blackboard learn is somewhat standardized across institutions. Blackboard Resources | Technology | Rappahannock Community College -Matt
