    Eliminating all air and sea travel would seem to imply the end of world travel and trade. So much for "Globalism".

    Who is "we"? China is the world's largest producer of CO2, with about twice the output of #2, the US. India is #3.

    So are we likely to see China, India and the rest of the "developing economies" making the changes that some British academics want to see in the US and Europe, dependent as these countries are on their export economies?

    Sounds like fantasy-land to me.
