Does anyone know of any RA school(s) that will accept graduate level credits from a nationally acredited schools (DETC/CHEA only)? I've been researching the Columbia Southern University/University of North Alabama partnership and would like to see if other RA schools will accept credits from a school that's DETC/CHEA accredited but not RA.

    Thanks.

    Hi Trish

Be aware that most graduate programs accept very limited transfer credits regardless of the accreditation. Usually the limit is only a few classes at most. There are some MLA programs like Excelsior and Fort Hays State that accept a few more. Good luck in your search.

    Trish,

clarify just a little if you could. If the credits in question were part of a completed degree then you will be hard pressed to get them accepted other than as a fulfillment for levelling or prerequisite classes. (maybe) You may or may not get acceptance of the completed credits but in my view if you get out of taking additional classes then the credits have served their purpose. I have been successful at using DETC credits for acceptance at several RA schools. I found that you can normally work with a school on this issue but be prepared to document your work experience, the courses in question, etc... Not an impossible task but it does take some work.

Troy University will accept credits from a DETC school with limitations.
