Does Excelsior allow one to earn a Bachelors degree in business with a double major?

I know they will let you earn two bachelors but not within the same program, so you cannot earn two business degrees.

If Excelsior will not does anyone know if COSC or TESC will?

I'm interested in a double major in Accounting and Finance.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    I don't know.

But the official terminology seems to be "business degree with two concentrations". Excelsior has renamed its Liberal Arts concentrations "majors", but it still calls its Business concentrations "concentrations".

Excelsior allows a Liberal Arts degree with two (but not more than two) majors, so I think it should allow a Business degree with two concentrations.

It's easy enough to call Excelsior's toll-free number and ask. Let us know what you find out.

    HI Mark and Thanks!

    I tried that already!

    :D I got an unequivical, "I don't think so!" :D

To both the double major in Liberal Arts and the double concentration is business.

:D When I asked "Who could I speak to in order to get a definitive answer?"

I was told, "When you enroll..."

    :D

Those kids at Excelsior are a laugh a minute!

OK, I phoned them as well. The nice lady said, "I don't think so, but let me double-check." A few minutes later she phoned back and said, "No."

I finally got a straight answer!

First, Thank you Mark for going out of your way to get an answer for me!

You are VERY helpful to everyone and always try to get to the bottom of issues.

Your presence and your kind participation here is a blessing on all of us and is one of the shining lights of this forum!

I tried emailing when I couldn't get an answer on the phone and got a response today:

"Thank you for your inquiry to Excelsior College. You may pursue a single Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts with two majors. Each major requires 30 credits with 15 of those at the upper level.

In regard to your question about the Bachelor of Science degree in Business, you may not pursue a single degree in Business with two concentrations. Each concentration is its own degree and as such they cannot be combined.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you need further assistance, please contact us again or call our toll free number at 1-888-647-2388 ext. 2-7."

Thank you to H.R. at Excelsior!

    And Mark, THANK YOU!
