Hello everyone, Before I post, I would like to thank Steve Foerster for helping out a complete stranger. He offered to help me out with the registration problems on this board which had kept me from posting. I posted on another board, mentioned briefly how I could not post on here, and with his kindness (or complete boredom who knows ), Steve decided to help me out. I been a long time reader/lurker of this board and I actually found my current college (American Military University) through this board sometime ago. Since I have not been able to ask questions, I have become proficient with the search function. Regardless, its been the single greatest resource for all things distance education related for me. Anyways back to my question...I would like to know if anyone here is enrolled in the Ph.D in Business Administration - CIS concentration. I am trying to determine if this concentration is more interdisciplinary vs. applied (i.e. programming etc). Any help on this subject would be appreciated. Ray
If you are referring specifically to the PhD (BAdmin - Computer and Information Security) the degree is interdisciplinary in nature. There is absolutely no programming per se. The focus of this PhD concentration is forensics not programming.
And if you decide to study for a doctoral degree at NCU, then most of the business courses can be taken at Aspen University and transferred in - this will save you a few thousand dollars.
You're welcome, just glad you're finally situated. Someone did it for me when I couldn't post, so when I see someone in that situation I pay it forward. -=Steve=-
