    Hi there,

Now that I have a PhD I have nothing to live for--except vicarious pursuits through friends.

I have a friend who has an MA from Western Seminary in applied theology and he is thinking about this MTh at Spurgeon's in Applied Theology listed here: http://www.spurgeons.ac.uk/Home/TheCourses/MastersCoursesMAMTh/MThinAppliedTheology/tabid/125/Default.aspx

If he has this MTh, would this qualify him to teach at a Christian college or Seminary in the US that is ATS accredited?

    Blessings to you!

    Hi Chris,

Spurgeon's is well regarded in the UK and I imagine is treated by ATS schools as equivalent. I recall that Cory Seibel got his position at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary (ATS/SACS) on the basis of his Spurgeon's/Wales M.Th. He held that post for several years while working on his Pretoria Ph.D.

How was your program at Aberdeen?

    Best wishes,

    David
