I want to take the Psychology GRE to earn 18 credits for COSC. I need at least a 40% on the test. Could anyone recommend any study guides to help me get at least the 40% I need?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I took the Psych GRE in 1996 for Regents, and found these two books helpful:

The Princeton Review, Cracking the GRE Psychology. Goes over everything covered in the test. If you only buy one test prep book, buy this one.

Calvin S. Hall, A Primer of Freudian Psychology. Even though most of the test is not explicitly Freudian, the non-Freudian portions tend to use Freudian terminology--and this breezy 120-page book will guide you painlessly through that terminology.

Hall and Nordby, A Jungian Primer. Because about 10% of the test is Jungian, and four 10%'s make one 40%.

    Good luck!

    Cheers,
