All this research on CS and IT programs have got me thinking about it for me.

I have about 72 hours, none in Computers. I don't work in the IT or CS field. I dig technology yet am not "a techie".

Is there a good CS or CIS or IT or MIS or any kind of Bachelors degree out there for a newbie?

I would check out Florida State's distance learning program in Computer Science. You need a programming class and Calculus I to get into the program. You also need 60 units of college credit to get into the program.
Florida State does not offer general education, science, and calculus classes through distance learning. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you complete the general education, science, and calculus requirement before entering the program because the last 30 units of your degree must come from Florida State.
