I am looking at starting postgraduate work in Theology/Apologetics. My undergraduate degree is in Economics, but I am more interested in Theology and Apologetics. One day, I would like to teach at a Seminary or be ordained in the ministry.

I would like to limit my options to distance learning programs because of work requirements.

I have looked at the MAR from Reformed Theological Studies, and many of the MA degrees through Liberty University.

Is Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary reputable?

My longterm plan was considering MA in Theological Studies from Liberty, the MAR from RTS...the combination of those two degrees would be 96 hours (making me eligible for the DMin from a Seminary).

I have also recently been looking at after obtaining the MA in Theological Studies from Liberty to pursuing the DTh from South African Theological Seminary.

Does anyone have any comments on the quality of these schools? Also the best route to take for one day teaching at a Seminary or being an ordained pastor?

    Thanks for your help.
