Both are great. All three of the "Blues Kings" played Gibsons. Freddie King - one of my all-time faves - liked Gibson ES-345s. B.B., of course, is famous for his "Lucilles" - ES-335s and Albert King (born Albert Nelson) was known for his Flying V. (He had more than one). He ended up with a custom Flying V-shaped axe, made by Dan Erlewine - a fine maker, for a great player.

Try as I will, I'm no B.B. King, of course, but my Telecaster has a name, too - "Miss Vanessa." And yes, I love her.

Strats? Everybody loves 'em - including my son, who has one. You may be interested in this. I'm betting, Lerner, you know ALL these guys. You probably even taught one or two of them :)
