Polls Have Improved for Democrats with Harris at the Top of Ticket

Ha...ha. Well. I know people who will probably vote for Trump because they don't like the alternative BUT they are uneasy about him. His sudden turn on the abortion issue is not surprising. His concern is him. I don't get why people try to turn him into this principled guy with Ronald Reagan idealism. He seems a little more like a Caesar (and not Augustus).

 

Well I like Caesar salad.

Before Trump I didn’t mind our Republican Presidents too much. Reagan was good. The first Bush was okay. I believed Bush junior about Sadam having WMD. That rubbed me the wrong way. Trump is a totally different issue though. I believe he cares nothing about our country.

 

I think his first and foremost concern is himself. There have been enough conservative and very competent people that have reported similar things about him. I was listening to General HR McMaster interviewed on NPR. He was interesting to listen to and he has a PhD in history from I believe the University of North Carolina. So he has credibility in several areas including leadership. And he is a very respected combat leader with a silver star. Trump had a great pool of talent but apparently they were not there to provide input and guidance. I think he likes affirmation more.

 

One is only "deranged" if the threats aren't real.

 

Yes, this is true. I'm still fond of being called TDS though. It was meant as a sarcastic insult, but it was an early warning to the spew of lies, hatred and chaos that is generated by Trump just being Trump.
