He fled Soviet anti-Semitism, Bill. With this background, embracing a trope right from the Protocols is... I don't even know... especially galling?

I understood that. I have to apologize for trying to speak for Lerner but I have to assume he doesn't see the nonsense of blaming this on Soros all the time as anti-Semitism. I'm saying he probably actually believes it to be true. He seems to be an extremely faithful consumer of the right-wing lies. His disbelief in the Big Lie being a notable exception to that rule.

This is not meant to be race related but political. You see it this way in order to create an opportunity to argue against me, noting new and expected.
The point is more for Bill who resides in a state were they capture and 24 hours later release criminals.
As to foreign interests that fund some of the elected officials its political - Actually only recognized it later after posting that this was Soros..

Call to mind a somewhat similar in message cartoon was once shared by Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Yair depicting Soros as pulling the strings behind people like Ehud Barak, former Barak aide Eldad Yaniv and Meni Naftali, a former caretaker of the prime minister’s residence who claimed abuse by Sara Netanyahu.

Forbes calls Soros the “most generous” philanthropist of all the billionaires who donate to charity:
He has given away 64 percent of his original fortune, distributing more than $15 billion to liberal organizations and initiatives largely identified with the left.

I find it incredibly ironic for anyone on the Right to complain about fat cats supporting political causes. It's hilarious.

I think the political causes can go to far on both sides. Supporting destruction and violent protest groups for one purpose to destabilize our Democracy are no longer only political they also hostile to our country and the safety of it citizens. Can be seen on a verge of funding terror.
I'm sure there are fat cats that would love to fund political initiatives that would be against our country.

See Stanislav! Even after Rich posts a link showing the ADL calling out Fox News for that cartoon and Fox News then deletes it, it still wasn't anti-Semitic it is the fault of others playing the race card!

There was no case in the first place.

    But there was.

Stanislav knows you much better than me and has shared with me some of his valuable insights. I really appreciated his helpful enlightenment. I was just overly excited to in this small way to partially return the favor for this one very minor detail.

Stanislav is off in this case. This is political not racial.
Is Netaniyahu's son antisemite? Yet he posted similar cartoon that can be misinterpret.
I do understand the sensitivity around such cartoon and how one can compare to the "protocols".
Internet is flooded with conspiracy theories about such individuals.

I also remember video of rioters protesting not getting payed as promised.
And some interviews with police chiefs who point in to an organized effort to deplete police resources etc.

Absolutely! That is exactly what I was saying you believed!

What you apparently did misinterpret was my opinion on the matter. I absolutely agree with Stanislav on the cartoon itself. A giant monster looking Soros (spelled $oro$ no less) pulling puppet strings from the background on two relatively unpopular ideas that Soros with very little doubt doesn't support. Absolutely is playing on the Anti-Semitic stereotype as stated by the ADL and further verified by even the racist Fox News taking it down. It is disgusting, IMHO.

That's fair. It is pretty ironic that left and right each have a billionaire boogeyman, whether Charles Koch or George Soros.
    Rich Douglas likes this.

Most of George Soro's donations have been given to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Society_Foundations They publish where their grants go.

Believing he's funding Defund the Police and that kind of thing is just Anti-Semitic BS of the worst degree. The type of anti-minority nonsense that the current Republican party thrives on. No base in reality just pure racist BS.

I think its antisemitic when one wants to play race card. Its political - There are many conspiracy theories out there.
Its philanthropic and many times a welcomed support and its on both sides of the spectrum.
Yes, there are those who think his money goes to the fund that sponsors such activities, for payed protestors.
Who ever thinks so they need to prove it. Get the fact checked.
Look there are many misconceptions and debates over political funding and support and more polarizing issues.
For one person donating money to Gaza to elevate poverty is charitable and nobble for others its money that goes to construct or purchase Iranian rockets to fire on Israeli civilians.
I personally have no idea if Soros money is used directly or indirectly to fund these events. But I don't see it as antisemitic, I see it as some who try to pass criticism of globalists and people who promote and support liberal globalist agenda.

Absolutely, I think you are describing your view exactly the same as I described your view.

What makes the cartoon Anti-Semitic is making $oro$ be a big evil being in the background pulling the puppet strings to run the Defund the Police movement. Which is silly to think he actually supports such a dead end unpopular movement. This is plainly just pushing the Anti-Semitic stereotype about Jews secretly running the world. As I previously argued you are so totally blinded by the right wing propaganda you can't see that fact.

Please note that you seem to be caught in a Catch-22 the more you argue the more it proves how correct I am! LOL!

If this cartoon had any symbols to Jewish faith or nationality etc I would deem it antisemitic.
But it has no such symbols, it only alludes to a wealthy guy who happens to be Jewish.
    There is a difference.

As to why right groups suspect and spin such allegations, I can only speculate.
After all Soros is involved , he is an activist among other and such it makes him a political target?

George Soros’s Foundation Pours $220 Million Into Racial Equality Push
Mr. Soros’s group will invest $150 million in grants for Black-led racial justice groups, and another $70 million toward local grants for criminal justice reform and civic engagement opportunities.

This indeed in my view should help to reduce the racial tensions. But will this funds be or are properly used or abused?

So, it's just a coincidence that he's Jewish?

No. It's not. And a reasoned person would avoid even the appearance of it.

Yes, and the ADL stated it was obviously Anti-Semitic and Fox News took it down because the ADL said it was Anti-Semitic.

So I'll do the same thing here that you've done a couple times previously. I'll declare here that you get the last word on this topic. ;)
