It really wasn't a last ditch effort. I had previously stated here a few times the desire to eventually get a CCU DBA. Events just forced me to make a decision now. The timing couldn't be worse as I am working on other things.
Can anybody remember when I ruled out all unaccredited schools? I'm stumped. Some folks' allegations remind me of Dr Verwoerd: full of holes.
Whenever you want you can show me where I defended SRU, or Liberia. I do not know janko about SRU. Talkin' bout false allegations. Just the facts ma'am just the facts. Have a good evening, Scott
I think that it would be silly to not take advantage of a favorable situation. CCU offers a course of action that can lead to several positive outcomes. At worst a degree from a solid approved school. At best a degree from an accredited school. Where is the lack of logic shown? In the end, it becomes an individual choice, I see nothing amiss.
Now, Dennis, if there was ever a reason to re-think your decision, this statement must surely be it. I've seen what CCU calls a doctorate and it is not a choice that I would make. However, I understand that people make choices for lots of reasons. Best of luck, Dennis. I truly hope that you won't need it. Btw, I do believe that CCU will get DETC accreditation for its BA/MA programs. They're not particularly good programs, but could be seen as comparable quality to other DETC schools. I don't believe that, if DETC starts accrediting doctorates, that CCU doctorates would be rigorous enough to get that accreditation (without some serious re-tooling -- they should, seriously, hire Rich Douglas as a consultant). DETC accredits at the BA and MA level, but turns the same schools down for doctorates. How confusing is that? Tom Nixon
