Ladies and Gentlemen, I was wondering if anyone knows where and how to find PhD level classes in Business and Accounting? I am interested in individual classes, not the entire PhD programmes. AACSB accredited is preferred, and the classes could be either online or on-campus.

Nova Southeastern University offers a DBA in accounting.

    Two questions:

What, if any graduate degrees do you already have?
Why do you want to take a PhD class in business or accounting?

Thanks for replying Av8r and foobar. Foobar I am enrolling in a thesis-only type of phd programme and I thought a couple of Phd level classes (specially in accounting) will help me immensely. Please note that Masters level classes are not an option.
Any other ideas guys? remember, the other issue is that most doctorate programmes don't just let you take one or two classes unless you are enrolled in their doctorate programmes.

Why is that an issue? I effectively did this with NCU (only downside is that NCU charged me $45 to withdraw).

Thanks Ian. I am looking into that option too, but like I said, AACSB accredited schools will be preferred.

    Jayzee:
Have you considered finding one or two syllibi for the type of accounting course you want and working on your own? A large part of the work in accounting doctorate courses is reading a long list of classic research articles.

Regarding, Nova Southeastern, I asked the uni about taking a single DBA course about a year ago and they told me that I had to go through the entire application process even for a single course. GMAT, application, transcripts, etc. Simply put, at that time, the NSU business school was not interested in allowing people to take courses without being in their DBA program.
