In 2025 based on one's goals, the strategy should be acquiring work skills, in an addition to academic education.
I f a person can invest in education, it's great and highly desired.
If meaningful employment is an important immediate goal, one can also focus on gaining job skills that can lead to employment.
Today, one can achieve their educational goals and have meaningful employment.

My father told me a story about his childhood friend. After WW2 my dad was a shoemaker, his friend learned and worked in watch and jewelry repair.
His friend dreamed to become a medical doctor. He ended up in France and worked in watch repair, to survive and actually made a decent living, while attending medical school, eventually becoming a medical Dr. The funny thing is he continued his watch repair work, while being DR. he loved both.
